If you’re looking for a VIP experience on Valentine’s Day, Brucie features a five-course Kim and Kanye menu. A few of Kim’s menu items include a stacked “24-Karrot” terrine; sticky kimchi sesame rice balls with a honey Mascarpone glaze; and a Goldschläger “Salted Karamel Karrot Kake.” On Kanye’s side you can choose from “Good Life” smoked oyster hors d’oeuvres; course three’s “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” made up of squid ink tagliatelle, duck confit, coconut, and microgreens; or finish off with “Imma Let You Finish” Pernod Yeezecake with Chantilly cream. The spinach salad is paired with Brooklyn Winery Stainless Steel Chardonnay, and the trout and Bay scallop “Osso Bucco” is paired with Brooklyn Winery Old Vine Zinfandel. The rest of your meal includes lamb shank risotto with savory chocolate and cherry, a truffle honey d’Affinois cheese and walnut crisp, and chocolate bread pudding or vanilla crème fraîche. If you don’t want to wait until dinner to celebrate Valentine’s Day, go to James for brunch. Brunch is a two-course prix fixe meal that includes two cocktails, coffee or tea, and dessert to share for $45. A few brunch options include blackberry-stuffed brioche French toast, fried oysters, Carolina shrimp, and an eight ounce grass-fed Angus burger.
