With fall around the corner, a lot of Brooklynites will be going upstate to pick apples. Others will be getting their apple fix by staying in Brooklyn and ordering a crisp hard cider from a local bar. Cider has been having a bit of a resurgence of late, in part because it is gluten free. Here are six of our favorite bars where you can find cider on draft.
You don’t have to go all the way to the west coast to enjoy cider. Pacific Standard (Boerum Hill) is a west coast-themed microbrew pub located on Fourth Avenue between St. Marks and Bergen Streets. In addition to an extensive selection of west coast microbrews, Pacific Standard sells Crispin Hard Cider.
