Pet-friendly hotels in Brooklyn: NU Hotel, McCarren Hotel & Pool, Wythe Hotel, and more

There’s so much to do in Brooklyn that it seems doggone cruel to leave your four-legged friends at home. So visitors to the borough will be happy to learn that there are a number of pet-friendly hotels in Brooklyn. Here are a few, along with pet-friendly things to do nearby.

NU-Hotel-Pets

The NU Hotel (Boerum Hill) is located on Smith Street at Atlantic Avenue, putting it just minutes away from popular attractions like Barclays Center and BAM. There’s also a dog run at Pier 6, in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Should anything go awry, it’s steps away from the One Love Animal Hospital. Or, if you need some last minute toys or treats, PetSmart is a block away.

Pets Policy: “We will accommodate your four-legged friends (as long as he or she is under 50lbs) for a $100 one-time cleaning fee.”

The McCarren Hotel & Pool is center stage in Brooklyn’s hippest neighborhood. It’s also right next door to McCarren Park Dog Run. For a dog-friendly spot with refreshments for the two-legged, stop by the aptly named Lucky Dog. To board your friend for a day, Buddy’s Dog Den on Graham Avenue comes highly recommended.

Pets Policy: “The animal must weigh 35 pounds or less, a contract/waiver must be signed upon arrival and a $100 non refundable deposit is required. No pets are allowed by the pool, restaurants, bars or by the beach and may not be left unattended in the guest rooms.”

Pets Policy: “There is a $50/pet overnight charge with a hotel room rental. Within our event spaces, well-behaved pets on leash are permitted during ceremony with prior approval. We kindly request that following the ceremony the pet be escorted home.”
