This weekend Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams invites everyone on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11 for a weekend full of arts, culture, food, and fun on the second annual Central Brooklyn Arts and Culture Weekend.
This event celebrates the creativity and spirit of Brooklynites whose different work energizes our creative energy and unites us as One Brooklyn. Brooklyn cultural institutions like the Brooklyn Aquarium, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Public Library, Jewish Children’s Museum, and Prospect Park Zoo will join the Central Brooklyn Arts and Cultural Weekend in providing art, culture, and many fun, educational activities.
Start the event on Saturday with a movie night under the stars in the Brooklyn Museum parking lot. To watch the movie in comfort, we advise you to bring blankets and chairs. There will be even more fun activities like balloon art, face painting, puppet making, and refreshments.
On Sunday, join Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams and his colleagues State Senator Jesse Hamilton, City Council Member Laurie Cumbo, and District Leaders Geoffrey Davis and Shirley Patterson, as they host the festival portion of Eastern Parkway corridor, which will stretch from Flatbush Avenue and Grand Army Plaza to Washington Avenue.
Bring your entire family! It’s going to be a fun weekend, and everyone in the family will have their hands full with fun activities like dance, bouncy houses, ball pits, ice cream socials, martial arts, skateboard demonstrations and more! Come out and explore art, play all day long, and eat delicious food.
