BeeHive Oven Biscuit Cafe
BeeHive Oven Biscuit Cafe182 S 2nd St Brooklyn, NY 11211
BeeHive Oven began in 2012 when hurricane Sandy hit New York. Being from Texas, Chef Treva Chadwell and her husband John knew that hurricanes can devastate the community in so many ways. Treva and John teamed up with neighbors and headed to Rockaway Beach to bring a sense of home to the families who might have lost their homes. In May 2014 BeeHive Oven open its doors in Williamsburg.
Beehive Oven in Williamsburg is your taste of Texas in NYC. Their house-made biscuits bring the simple taste of the South to you. Beehive sources the best ingredients it can find and sources them properly. Many of the ingredients are locally sourced, however there are times that the best ingredients come from a little distance away. No matter where the ingredients come from, each bite will tell you that your meal was made with the utmost care.
The dishes are not artisanal or forced but simple and delicious that cause many guests to tell stories of growing up. It is the best compliment to have a guest say the meal reminds them of someone they love.
