Harbor Fitness (Bay Ridge) offers three more Brooklyn locations—the others are in Park Slope, Mill Basin, and Flatlands—and has been operating since 1991. The famous Manhattan chain also has locations in Bushwick, Crown Heights, Greenpoint, and Fort Greene. They carried their “no judgments” philosophy to Kings County, also, offering a variety of classes and a full line of the latest equipment at all its locations. This Gowanus favorite has been teaching CrossFit and related physical culture since 2007 and says they are one of the largest, best equipped training facilities in New York City, priding themselves on the quality of their coaching. A variety of training services are available and are catered to the individual needs of members. A weekly free introduction class happens every Sunday at 2:15. Information is available here.

NYC Fitness Club (Flatbush)
NYC Fitness Club calls itself one of the largest fight and fitness clubs in the city. Members train with champions in different disciplines, including everything from martial arts to yoga, sport and belly dance. The club also features a juice bar and kids classes.
